Coordinating Commission Executive Director Marshall Hill recently testified before the Nebraska Legislature’s Education Committee as part of the LR 542 process, which directs standing committees to identify any state programs, services and obligations that could be reduced or eliminated during the upcoming 2011 session.
As part of his testimony, Hill presented the committee and its staff with a document that clearly outlines the Coordinating Commission’s duties – nearly all of which are required either through statute or the state constitution.
